More than 13,500 Nameless Streets in Azerbaijan
In 45 districts of Azerbaijan, the Cadastre and Registry of Addresses Service under the State Committee for Property Affairs has identified 13,527 nameless streets.
According to the Committee’s report, this number concerns 1,259 rural localities of the country. "In the next two months, the relevant bodies of executive power will be told to name these streets," the Committee emphasized.
The information system of address registry already includes 603,126 inputs and 335,037 internal addresses of real estate located in 6,705 streets and avenues in 6 cities of republican importance and in 50 districts. New addresses have been assigned to 758 streets and avenues in Baku, 846 streets and avenues in Ganja, and 195 in Sumgait. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
