No fundamental changes in the non-bank lending sector
Total assets of non-bank credit organizations (NBCO) by April 1 in Azerbaijan exceeded 551.16 million (+1.7% YTD).
According to the AR Central Bank quarterly, the total registered capital of these structures is 84.44 million ( 2 %) in the presence of 203 branches in the country ( 4.6 %).
Credit unions have assets of 55.1 million manat with a total registered capital of 22.25 million (3.3 %). Assets of credit institutions financed by international humanitarian agencies constitute 464.12 million manat and their total share capital is 43.48 million (2.2 %).
NBCO other assets in the first quarter amounted to 31.94 million manat, with the total share capital - 18.71 million manat with 12 branches.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, up to April 1, 2014 throughout the country, 154 NBCOs operated. Among them, there are 113 credit unions and 40 credit organizations financed by international humanitarian agencies plus the non-bank credit organization Agrarkredit. - 17D-
