Number of Companies with Restriction on Travel outside Azerbaijan Reached 999
The Ministry of Taxes has submitted a new list of companies that are subject to a limitation of the leaders to travel outside the country. Over the past two months, the number has doubled and reached 999.
In the new list, there are also some of the most significant enterprises in the country's economy. Ltd. Azeri Drilling Company has a debt to the state budget in the amount of 886,416 manat. This company was founded in 2006 with the participation of SOCAR (35%) and Target Petroleum Azerbaijan Corporation (65%, Panama). Because of this, Faig Mammadov will not be able to leave the country for as long as the debt is paid.
Due to 11,099 manat the same punishment has been also applied to officials of the Neftchala Iodine and Bromine Plant, which belongs to the group of companies ISR Holding.
The construction company AAAF Park Khirdalan (part of the group of companies AAAF Park) late repaid its debt of just 1,852 manat to the state budget. However, its director Ali Nabiyev shared the same fate with the others.
Ltd. Yeddi Gozel (the eponymous hotel Gilan Holding in the Gabala region) has a tax debt in the amount of 68,931 manat.
Note that in this list there are about 10 people who manage multiple overnight companies. Typically, such companies are created for the purpose of tax evasion, and their leaders agree to criminal penalties for certain rewards. -----08B
