Number of Foreign Taxpayers in Framework of Social Insurance Exceeded 25,000
According to the State Social Protection Fund (SSPF), since the beginning of the year there has been 11.03% increase in the number of registered migrant workers. By July 1, the number reached 25,010 people.
As stated in the press release of SSPF, most foreign workers (88.6%) with individual accounts in the system of state social insurance are men. In general, registered foreigners are from 104 countries. Their individual accounts accumulate deductions produced by them or on behalf of them.
Traditionally, most of the foreigners registered in State Social Protection Fund are from Turkey (12,886), Georgia (2,739) and Russia (1,446). They are followed by workers and employers from Iran (934), China (811), India (773), Pakistan (507), Great Britain (496), and so on - in descending order. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
