OJSC Capital Bank Prematurely Buys Its Bonds
JSC Capital Bank announced the premature liquidation of unsecured interest-bearing bonds issued in 2014.
The bonds were bought out due to the high liquidity of the bank, the press secretary of Capital Bank Parviz Sadraddinov told Turan. The bank noted that the elimination of its investment securities will not affect the market of Azerbaijan bonds.
In March 2004, the bank placed 8,000 bonds with par value of 1,000 AZN each on the OTC market. The yield on the securities amounted to 5.5% per annum. The maturity of the securities was 3 years and they are to be repaid on 17 March 2017.
The Financial Markets Control House registered the decision of the Supervisory Board of OJSC Capital Bank on the elimination of the bank's bonds.
The authorized capital of OJSC Capital Bank is 185 800 000 AZN. The bank is controlled by the company Pasha Holding (14,980,163 shares, 99.86%). The remaining 19,837 shares are held by 180 individuals. -08B-
