Parameters of Need Criterion and Subsistence Minimum in 2019 Set
Baku / 23.10.18 / Turan: The criterion of need in Azerbaijan for 2019 will be 143 manat.
A bill on this entered the parliament in the package of laws on the state budget for 2019 the day before.
Public address social assistance is determined on the basis of this criterion.
According to another bill, in 2019 the minimum subsistence level in the country will be set at 180 manat, including AZN 191 for the working population, AZN 149 for pensioners, and AZN 160 for children.
After being passed by Parliament and approved by the President, the laws will enter into force on January 1, 2019.
Recall that in 2018 the need criterion was set at 130 manat, and the cost of living - at 173 manat. -71D-
