Purchase of Cars from Abroad Decreased by 5.8 Times
In January-September of this year Azerbaijan purchased 3,900 motor vehicles abroad. In 2012-2013, it was half-month import of motor vehicles.
According to the State Customs Committee, for the first 9 months of the year 3,389 cars were imported, including used ones. For the comparable period of 2015 distributors, dealers and individuals delivered 20,386 cars.
The country imported 733 buses and minibuses in January-September 2015, whereas the index for the same period this year was 61.
Construction and transport companies bought 379 trucks, which is four times less than in the same period last year. ----08D
