Securities Market in Azerbaijan Increased by 33%
The volume of transactions with securities in Azerbaijan rose by 33% in 2016 compared to the same period of 2015, amounting to 14 billion 25 million 825.065 thousand manat, said the Financial Market Supervision Authority.
Primary market increased by 4.5 times, reaching 8.669 billion manat.
In 2016 the volume of transactions in corporate securities increased by 39% and amounted to 913 million manat.
The volume of transactions in corporate bonds in 2016 increased by 2,2 times and amounted to 7 billion 833 million 912.045 thousand manat.
In 2016 the volume of transactions with government securities increased by 40.2 times - up to 836 million 158.06 thousand manat.
The volume of transactions with derivative securities decreased by 28% in 2016, amounting to 4 billion 440 million 667.091 thousand manat. -71D-
