Shares of brickworks offered to investors
The State Committee for Property Affairs (GKVI – local abbreviation) set out for investment competition on 30.01% of JSC Imisli-Kerpic (Imishly brickyard), which over the years have not been implemented in the cash auction for half of their face value.
The investor has to offer for the shares not less than 45 000 AZN while the nominal value is 130,500 manat (34.4% of the nominal value). In the case of a successful outcome of the competition, he is obliged to restore the company production of bricks, or organize production of other construction materials.
GKVI several times offered to investors shares of this dormant company before. Imishly brick factory was built in 1990. The controlling stake was sold in the early 2000s.
The authorized capital of JSC Imisli-Kerpic is 435 000 manat.
This year GKVI through investment competition has sold 30% stake in two JSC (Roza-Corek and Zaqatala-Tutun). --08D--

Azerbaijan’s imports of animal and vegetable fats and oils climbed 23.9% by weight and 16.2% by value from January to September 2024, official data revealed. Despite the uptick in volume, the import cost of these products saw a decrease compared to the same period last year, with the cost per ton of vegetable oil falling by 6.1% to $1,199.6 in 2024, down from $1,278.6 in 2023.
