A series of stamps has been released to mark the first European Games Baku-2015.
According to the information on the website of Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, the author of the initiative is the specialized company Azermarka. The issue represents all the 20 sports represented at the continental competitions.
Judging by the statements of the organizers, the Games will be participated by more than 6 thousand athletes from 49 countries and visited by approximately 1 million spectators.
Doctor of Economic Sciences Gubad Ibadoglu told Turan the Games will cost the state budget only officially 3.5 billion manat and become a symbol of uneconomical attitude in the unstable global economy. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
