
State Statistics Committee fixed food deflation
At the end of June in Azerbaijan registered deflation.
Food prices fell 2.7%, the cost of non-food products, commercial services and tariffs remained at the May level.
According to the State Customs Committee, the deflation of consumer prices in general set at 1.3%. According to this official agency, the price of rice, semolina and buckwheat, bread, pasta, lamb, chicken, fish, vegetable and animal oils and fats dropped. Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
