The Central Bank continues to strengthen manat
The Azerbaijani Central Bank continued its policy of strengthening the national currency, begun a few days ago. According to Turan, the Central Bank raised the rate of manat on September 28 - 1USD/1,6292AZN to 1,6252AZN.
It should be noted that on 27 September the State Oil Fund and the Central Bank carried out another currency intervention, together offering at the currency auction $150 million.
At the same time, 20 banks purchased only $70.2 million. –71D-
