The cost of passage by metro reaches 0.50 manat
The cost of passage by the Baku Metro in 2012 amounted to 49.2 gepik, by 5% less than in 2011 (51.7 gepik.)
According to the State Statistics Committee, in 2012 the Baku Metro has spent on the organization of passenger transport 96,450 manat, by 2.1% more than in the previous year.
In 2012, on the subway 195.6 million passengers (including beneficiaries) were transported by metro. This is by 7.1% more than in 2011. Revenues of Baku Metro totaled 40.8 million manat, increasing by 41.8%, due to the increase in 2011 the cost of travel from 15 to 20 gepiks.
According to the State Statistical Committee (SSC), the tendency of the growth of passenger flow in subway continued in the first quarter of this year. Over the first three months were more than 50 million people were transported by metro, which is 5.5% more than in the comparable period of 2012. ---08--
