Who Misleads Public - IA Turan or EPEGZ
Baku / 24.12.19 / Turan: The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population announced on December 24 the conclusion of an agreement on the purchase of equipment in the amount of 55 thousand 757 manats (32.8 thousand US dollars). Information about the supplier of equipment is contradictory.
Turan news agency wrote on December 13 about the conclusion by the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan (FSA) of a contract for the purchase of furniture equipment. FSA through the Unified Portal of Electronic Public Procurement (UPEPP) provided two information about this agreement, according to which the agreement was awarded to two different persons: private entrepreneur Gunduz Garibkhan Oglu Aliyev and LLC Ideal Office.
Commenting on Turan’s information on social networks, FSA spokeswoman Aisel Ferzieva noted that Gunduz Aliyev is an employee of Ideal Office LLC under an employment contract, and he acted on behalf of this company, having the status of administrator for entering the electronic procurement system using the key “ASAN Imza". In her opinion, by publishing such information, Turan is misleading the public.
It is noteworthy that in UPEPP the information on concluding an agreement between FSA and Gunduz Aliyev is stored in two contents: concluded agreements and tenders, and on concluding an agreement with Ideal Office LLC is available only in the notification content. Thus, taking into account the new agreement with the State Social Protection Fund, the question of whether “Gunduz Aliyev is a private entrepreneur, or he represents Ideal Office LLC” remains open. -----08B--
