The prices of foods and agricultural products rose by 6.9% on the average in Azerbaijan"s big towns in Jan. 2007. The biggest increase (by 12.3%) was in Mingechevir. The prices increased by 2.3% in Nakhchivan, by 7.3% in Gandja, by 7.5% in Lenkoran, and by 5.3% in Guba. Eggs became 18.7% cheaper in Lenkoran and Mingechevir in this period.
