565 Azerbaijani citizens evacuated from earthquake zone in Turkey
Baku/17.02.23/Turan: Work continues to identify and provide assistance to Azerbaijani citizens affected by the earthquake in Turkey. According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry on February 17, 565 Azerbaijani citizens and their close relatives were evacuated from the earthquake zone.
At present, there is no information about 2 citizens of Azerbaijan, their search continues.
As a result of search and rescue measures, it was established that 10 citizens of Azerbaijan died as a result of the earthquake. One of them was buried in Turkey, and the bodies of 9 people were sent to Azerbaijan with all the necessary procedures, the Foreign Ministry said. --03--
