Aliyev and Hussein discussed issues of Azerbaijani-Iraqi cooperation, including opening of direct flights
Baku/05.07.23/Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today received Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Iraq Fuad Hussein, who is in Baku to attend the conference of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Accession Movement.
During the conversation, it was noted that the parties successfully cooperate in international organizations, including the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the OPEC+ format.
The sides also exchanged views on the prospects of the development of bilateral relations in various areas, including cooperation in the field of energy and tourism, trade and economic field.
In particular, the sides discussed the expansion of relations in the field of tourism, the opening of direct flights between various cities of Iraq and Azerbaijan, investments, cooperation in the agricultural sector. The importance of mutual visits of official and business delegations was also noted. -06B-
