Another soldier arrested in Karabakh for spying for Azerbaijan
Baku/11.06.22/Turan: In January 2021, a serviceman, whose name was not disclosed, made contact on a social network with an account opened by foreign intelligence services under the name of an Armenian girl, according to Armenian media.
During the correspondence, the military agreed to transfer for $150 information of a military nature. Later, he transmitted information about the location of one of the military units in Karabakh, the coordinates of its combat positions, the number of troops and equipment.
Cooperation with foreign intelligence continued until May 2022. During this time, information on the number of armored vehicles, vehicles, the location of the buildings of the military unit in which the military man served, as well as information on other military units of the Armenian forces and Russian peacekeepers was transmitted. Over that period the soldier received about $ 1,500.
