Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry should speak on events in Ukraine
The participants of the event held yesterday at the headquarters of the "Musavat" party "The revolution in Ukraine and its influence on the post-Soviet space," issued a statement which called on the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry to express attitude to these events.
Social and political forces of Azerbaijan condemn Russia's plans to dismember the Ukraine, and regard them contrary to international law.
The document's authors have expressed concern about inciting separatism in Crimea - an integral part of Ukraine.
It is moral duty of Azerbaijan which has separatism and external aggression to express support for allied Ukraine.
"At this crucial moment, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry should issue a statement of support of the territorial integrity , condemnation of separatism and intervention," reads the statement.
The new Ukrainian government, political circles and the public expect such a support from their partners, including the GUAM.-05D06-
