Democracy Remembered at Ilham Aliyev�s Meeting with Representative of Department of State
Baku / 31.05.18 / Turan: On Thursday, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Brigitte Brink.
As stated in the official message, the meeting discussed issues of regional cooperation and the development of democracy. The issues of energy and regional cooperation were also touched upon.
The Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict was also discussed, and Ilham Aliyev stressed the solution of the issue is in ensuring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The sides noted the successful development of the bilateral relations in the sphere of politics, economy, energy and security.
It should be noted that Brigitte Brink has visited Baku several times in recent years. She last visited Azerbaijan in February this year. -02D-
