Established Coordinating Group of Turkish Armed Forces, Azerbaijan and Georgia
During the meeting on May 4 in Ankara between the military leaders of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia an agreement was reached on the establishment of the Coordination Group.
As the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said, this structure will coordinate the cooperation of the three countries in the military sphere. The Group's objective is to conduct joint exercises, training and cooperation in the field of education and health, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the Turkish General Staff Necdet Ozel and Georgia’s Vakhtang Kapanadze and the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Hasanov. -02D-
