EU : Ilham Aliyev arrives in Vilnius
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will take part in the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius on 28-29 November, the press service of the European Union. Official Baku has not confirmed the information yet. The summit will be attended by heads of state and government of the 28 members of the EU and the six members of the Eastern Partnership - Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan , Armenia and Belarus.
The EU will be represented by their senior management in the face of Jose Manuel Barroso, Catherine Ashton, Stefan Fule and Martin Schulz.
Signing of a number of bilateral agreements between the EU and members of the Eastern Partnership is expected. However, the main document is Association Agreement.
First Armenia and then Ukraine refused to sign. Georgia is not expressed explicitly, as Moldova. Azerbaijan declared its readiness to sign an agreement on visa facilitation. -16D-
