Baku/29.12.20/Turan: President Ilham Aliyev delivered a congratulatory message to compatriots on the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis, celebrated annually on December 31.
The appeal pays a lot of attention to the Patriotic War of September 27-November 10.
“The victorious Azerbaijani army, displaying heroism during all 44 days of the war, inflicted a crushing defeat on the enemy and restored the territorial integrity of the country,” the message says.
Referring to the Victory Parade on December 10 in Baku, Aliyev noted that it became a demonstration of the political, economic and military power of the Azerbaijani state, "the firm will of our people, the determination of the army, the invincible fighting spirit of our soldiers and officers."
Aliyev assured that Karabakh, destroyed because of the Armenian occupation, would be turned into a real paradise in the shortest possible time.
The President wished the Azerbaijanis of the world success in further enhancing the prosperity of Azerbaijan. --06D-

The preliminary investigation into the case of Russian oligarch and former "state minister" of the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh, Ruben Vardanyan, has been completed. During the conversation, the issues related to the crash of the AZAL passenger plane on December 25 near the city of Aktau were discussed in detail.
