Ilham Aliyev : We have freedom of speech
Baku hosts the 77th Congress of the International Sports Press Association - AIPS. President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the participants, which was read today by the head of the political department Administration, Ali Hasanov.
Freedom of speech and expression has been provided in Azerbaijan, numerous civil society and pluralistic media space published in various languages have been formed, the statement says.
"Thousands of media - television and radio stations, newspapers, magazines, websites and information portals function in the country. Up to 60 of them are directly connected with the sport," the statement says. -02D-
