Macron is for a long-term political solution on Nagorno-Karabakh
Paris / 07.01.21 / Turan: France stands for the search for a long-term political settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, the TASS agency was informed about this on Thursday at the Elysee Palace with reference to a telephone conversation between French President Emmanuel Macron and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"The head of state held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Armenia; Macron announced his determination to seek a long-term political solution (to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem) after the November 9 ceasefire agreement."
According to the representative of the Elysee Palace, during the conversation the President informed about "France's readiness to support efforts to free all prisoners, as well as to promote the economic development of Armenia." -02D-
