Baku / 24.08.18 / Turan: On Thursday, August 23, the meeting of the head of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces Najmeddin Sadykov and the head of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Roman Golovchenko was held in Minsk.
As the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry informed, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries in the military-technical sphere.
Najmeddin Sadykov also visited one of the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Belarus and met with its leadership.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan got acquainted with military equipment and various military products produced by the military industrial complex of Belarus.
It should be noted that recently Baku has increased arms purchases from Belarus. In particular, one of the most powerful missile systems of small and medium range, Polonaise was purchased exactly in Belarus.
