"Musavat": There is still no information about Faraj Kerimli
"Musavat" party issued a statement expressing concern about the fate of the blogger and the party member, Faraj Kerimli. The statement noted that he is a carrier of hepatitis C virus, and contrary to the law, his whereabouts remain unknown more than 48 hours.
Kerimli’s life is in danger, he was ill, and was unreasonably arrested. That is why the party calls for immediate and unconditional release of Faraj and his brother Siraj.
Faraj Kerimli , the head of the audit committee of the youth organization of the party "Musavat", and the administrator of the site musavat.org.az, was detained by people in plainclothes on July 23 in Baku Health Center. The people did not present any documents, put a bag on Kerimli’s head, and took him in an unknown direction.
The same day, the Interior Ministry published a report that police detained Kerimli, and found drugs with him.
Since then members of his family, a lawyer or anyone else cannot get any information about the arrested and the charges against him.
On July 17 Siraj Kerimli, Faraj’s brother was arrested for 3 months on charges of drug possession.-16D04-

Ramil Eynaliev, an activist from the Lankaran branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PPFA), has been administratively arrested for 30 days on charges of "disobeying the police." According to the PPFA, Eynaliev was detained the day before and taken to the third police station of the Khazar district in Baku. The party believes that the true reason for his arrest is a critical comment he made on social media.
