OSCE Chair on Karabakh Conflict
The 19th meeting of the foreign ministers of the OSCE opened today in Dublin. Eamon Gilmore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland said that activation of conflict on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops since April of this year testifies to the need for a rapid response to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as it is so harmful to the peoples of the region, according to the Turan correspondent in Dublin.
He also expressed his gratitude to his personal representative Andzhey Kasprzyk "for his active work in the region" to prevent the escalation of incidents.
"We work for the benefit of our citizens. I call on everyone, to cooperate and demonstrate the relevance of our organization, by the coming in 2015, the 40th anniversary of the Declaration of Helsinki," said Gilmore as he addressed the Council of Foreign Ministers OSCE.—04C06-
