Baku / 12.10.19 / Turan: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed the current situation around the Karabakh conflict and the possibility of easing tension. ArmenPress was informed about it by the press secretary of the Prime Minister Vladimir Karapetyan.
"At the official dinner following the results of the Ashgabat CIS summit on October 11, where the seats were arranged in alphabetical order, Aliyev and Pashinyan sat side by side and talked. The conversation mainly concerned the current situation in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, the possibilities of easing tension and further steps," Karapetyan said. According to him, the conversation lasted 1.5-2 hours.
According to Karapetyan, the Armenian Prime Minister again repeated the formula for resolving the conflict, which should be acceptable to Armenia, Karabakh and Azerbaijan. What Aliyev answered to that, the spokesman did not say.
