Agreements on visa facilitation and readmission agreements between the EU and Azerbaijan can act in force until the end of 2014. Reporters were told by the head of the EU Delegation in Baku, Malena Mard.
Recall that an agreement on the facilitation was signed in November last year at the Vilnius summit of "Eastern Partnership" , and readmission - in Brussels in February this year.
According to Mard , although Azerbaijan has not expressed intention to join the EU , the two sides are holding discussions on political association and economic integration and they are mutually interested in this. -06B-

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
