Son of Robert Kocharyan accused of corruption
Baku / 19.02.19 / Turan: Sedrak Kocharya, son of former President of Armenia Robert Kocharian , is accused of tax evasion on a large scale and legalization of the proceeds of crime received, stated the press service of the National Security Service of Armenia.
According to the investigation, he organized and led the process of tax evasion on a particularly large scale and the legalization of income received. In particular, we are talking about the amount of 5.3 million dollars.
These funds were invested in the purchase of the Best Western Congress Hotel in Yerevan.
Sedrak Kocharyan was charged under Part 2 of Article 38-205 and paragraph 1 of Part 3 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. A subscription of not leaving is taken from it.
Robert Kocharyan himself is already under arrest on charges of overthrowing the constitutional order. -02D-
