Zaur Gurbanli is kept in prison of the Department to Fight Organized Criminality (DFOC)
Head of the Committee against Torture Elchin Behbudov visited today Zaur Gurbanli, blogger and activist of the NIDA youth organization, who is kept in jail of the Department to Fight Organized Criminality (DFOC) of the Interior Ministry.
According to human rights activist, Gurbanli did not complain about the conditions of detention, but rejected alleged charges of resisting the police during his arrest last Friday.
The Absheron court on the same day in the evening found guilty under the Article 310 of the Administrative Code, and arrested for 15 days. According to Behbudov, the same Absheron same court adopted decision on keeping Gurbanli in the DFOC, but he did not give a legal assessment to his keeping in detention. -05B-
