20,000 People Call on Ilham Aliyev to Stop the Price Increases
In protest against the increase of petrol prices since December 3, an Internet petition was launched to ask President Ilham Aliyev to stop the price increases.
The campaign is arranged at avaaz.org.
In the first day, the appeal to the President was signed by more than 20,000 people. The number of signatures is growing.
The appeal says: "Fuel price increase in the near future will cause a rise in prices of food and commodities . If we do not want this, we must all together express citizenship. If we do that, we believe that our president will hear us and support us," the petition says.
Protests against price increases are contained in numerous discussions of various groups of social networks on the Internet. -06D-
