Another journalist collaborating with Meydan TV is interrogated
A journalist Ayten Farhadova was questioned on the eve in the Investigation Department on Grave Crimes of the General Prosecutor's Office in connection with her cooperation with the Internet resource Meydan TV.
According to the journalist, the questioning lasted about two hours. She was asked questions about the events in Mingachevir (the protest on 22 August in connection with the death of 27-year-old Bahruz Hajiyev in the local police office) and the activities of Meydan TV.
The journalist reported that she was not in Mingechevir during the protests. She was also asked about the work, if she receives a salary there, and who else works there.
Starting from September 1, the prosecutor's office questioned other journalists working with Meydan TV - Vagifgyzy Sevinj, Izolda Agayeva, Javid Abdullayev, Natig Javadli, and Shirin Abbasov.
All they are called on the pretext of giving coverage on the protest in Mingachevir, but questions are mostly asked about Meydan TV.
