Central blood bank urged citizens to donate blood
Baku / 14.12.20 / Turan: During a pandemic, the need for blood for people suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, leukemia, as well as a severe form of coronavirus (COVID-19) has increased in the country, the Central Blood Bank of Azerbaijan said on December 14.
The message published on the e-tibb.az website says that these days the solidarity of people who are ready to help fellow citizens in need of blood is especially important: "Blood banks work around the clock. Considering that on days of tightened quarantine, citizens leave their homes with hourly permission, we inform you that, if necessary, donors will be provided with a certificate indicating the reason for the delay," the appeal reads. -16D-
