Preparations for vaccination against the coronavirus pandemic, replacement of maps by Russian peacekeepers, and assessment of the healthcare system are topics of today's media.
The Azerbaijan newspaper writes about preparations for vaccination against the coronavirus pandemic. The author notes that one of the requirements for a vaccine is a minimum of side effects, safety and contraindications.
Currently, out of 30 tested vaccines, only 7 vaccines have passed the third phase of clinical trials. Vaccines must also meet parameters such as containment, effectiveness and safety.
The website Yenisabah.az writes about the abuse of authority by the Russian peacekeepers, recalling the scandal with the map of December 13, where the peacekeepers willfully expanded their area of responsibility.
Baku accused the Russian peacekeepers of violating the trilateral statement, expressing the opinion that Russia is behind the tension in Karabakh. Azerbaijan's persistence led to the replacement of the map with the old one. Thus, Baku demonstrated the impossibility of going beyond the reached agreements.
The website Bizimyol.info.az writes about the need for radical changes in the healthcare system. The increase in the number of deaths from coronavirus has caused discussion on social networks, where the main reason is the situation of the past 20 years in the health care system. Thus, there is no health insurance system in the country, drug safety is not ensured, and the production of drugs has not been established.
Hospitals have been built in the regions of the country, there is modern equipment, but everyone is trying to get treatment in Baku, since there is no staff. Everything at the Azerbaijan Medical University needs to be radically changed.
The whole world uses nana technologies, and in Azerbaijan they study according to somewhat improved textbooks of the 1970s. The entire faculty is graduates of the 1970s and 1980s.
With regard to medicines, mainly representative offices of large manufacturers of medicines have closed their offices in Baku. The reason is the absence of normal working conditions. For the leading country in the region, it is a shame not to produce even paracetamol.
The website Moderator.az discusses the situation in cinema with actor Valeh Kerimov. He talks about the need to make war films about the situation in the territories liberated from the occupation and about the destruction and robbery committed by the Armenians in the occupied Azerbaijani lands.
All crimes of the Armenians must be brought to the attention of the world community. --0—
