FC "Garabagh" wins "Young Boys" and enters the group stage of the European League

The  Agdam  team "Karabakh"  won on  Thursday in Baku in the match play-off round of the European League the football club "Young Boys" from Switzerland with a score 3: 0, and entered  the group stage of the competition. A week ago in Bern "Garabagh" won  with the score 1: 0.

 The match in Baku began  actively  the guests. However, the Swiss players in the 3-th minute missed a sharp counterattack of  "Karabakh". Reinaldo  went one on one with the goalkeeper  "Young Boys" , and the captain of the Swiss von Bergen  knock him down.

Lithuanian Gediminas Mažeika without hesitation  made a penalty and removed von Bergen.  The 11-meter was successfully played by  Richard Almeida. Encouraged by the successful debut  the "Karabakh" went on the offensive on the opponent.

Goalkeeper Yvonne Mvogo many times helped  "Young Boys"  in 100 percent of scoring situations. But on the 42nd minute he failed to reflect the goal of  Reinaldo,

During one of the attacks on the 61st minute Afrand Ismailov from the acute angle inside the penalty area brought the score to 3: 0.

Thus, the "Karabakh" second season makes its way to the group stage of the European League football.

In the season 2014/2015 "Karabakh" won  in six games six points, and ranked the third in their group and  left the struggle.

The chances to reach the group stage retains another Azerbaijani club "Gabala", which late on Thursday in Athens, met with Greek "Panathinaikos."
