Flyers devoted to Ilgar Mamedov confiscated from the "Qanun" publishing house confiscated
REAL Movement issued a statement in connection with searches at the publishing house "Qanun". The organization believes that the reason for the searches was the Flyers by Ilgar Mamedov, the leader of REAL Movement , made in the publishing house on the occasion of his birthday - on 14 June. Flyers have been ordered to inform about the life and illegal arrest of Mamedov, the statement said.
Confiscation of flyers and the very reactions by authorities to the planned action to distribute them become another proof that the authorities are afraid of Mamedov, who has been illegally detained for three years in custody.
Calling the operation "search for a bomb", the authorities probably worried that flyers will cause a bombshell, it said in a statement.
* Ilgar Mammadov was arrested in February 2013 in connection with the unrest in the city of Ismayilli and subsequently sentenced to 7 years in prison. Despite the fact that the ECHR in May 2014 adopted a decision on the illegality of his arrest, he still remains in prison.-06D--
