Baku/22.11.22/Turan: The National Hydrometeorological Service under the Ministry of Ecology of Azerbaijan has warned about the expected strong wind in the country on November 23.
The northwest windin Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula is expected to increase to 15-18 m/s, and sometimes up to 20-25 m/s.
In the regions, the western wind is also expected to increase to 18-23 m/s. ---06B---

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
