Hollywood style attempt of bank robbing
Last night there was an attempted of bank robbery in the Absheron branch of "Capital Bank" in Khirdalan city (15 km from Baku.) According to the press service of the Interior Ministry, in the evening the bank collector Hikmet Aliyev hid in the bank to commit theft of money. At night, a security guard of the bank Hamlet Shikhaliyev heard suspicious noises inside the room and noticed the collector. The robber pulled out a knife, and attacked the security guard. During the fight, the guard who was trying to protect himself accidentally shot his own foot from service weapon. This enabled the collector to escape from the scene, but police arrived and managed to detained the assailant. The wounded guard was hospitalized.
It should be noted that there has long been no cases or attempted bank robberies. Previously, armed attacks were made on currency exchange points.-02D-
