Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan tweeted line from poem about harm of mullahs
Baku/09.11.22/Turan: Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Abbas Mousavi has shared a video he shot in Lachin on his Twitter feed. In it, a local resident, during a meeting with Ambassador Mousavi visiting the shop of a Lachin resident, recited a poetic line in the Tat language which said that Iran is the heart of sweet Mazandaran and sweet Hindustan. In a caption to the video, the Iranian Ambassador emphasized that the Tat language is a variant of the Farsi language. "The world is the body and Iran is its heart," the Ambassador explained.
The video was shown on the anti-Azerbaijani Iranian TV channel "Sahar", which described it as a response to a tweet by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran.
Earlier Iranian President I. Raisi stated that the Caucasus is a part of historical Iran.
Political commentators called the Iranian Ambassador's tweet a kind of response to a tweet by Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Iran Ali Alizadeh, who wrote on November 6, 2022 under a photo of night Tabriz: "The nights of Tabriz are beautiful too". It was believed that with this tweet the Azerbaijani Ambassador underlined the Azerbaijani history of Tabriz and northern Iran in general.
The connoisseurs of the Iranian literature in Baku reported that the line in the Ambassador's tweet was taken from the poetry of the Iranian poet of the period Meshrut Iyrej Mirza (1874-1926). However, the video does not quote the continuation of the poet Mirza's poem, who wrote about the harm of mullahs and muftis, who bring harm to Iran.
At present, as if in confirmation of the words said by Mirza 100 years ago, the youth in Iran is protesting against the clerical regime in the IRI.-0-
