Judge is punished for creating the conditions for corruption
Judicial Council petitioned on October 28 on before time stoppage of the duties of Hasan Aliyev as a judge of the Baku Serious Crimes court.
According to the Judicial Council, the reason for this decision became the violation of law by Aliyev, create conditions for corruption , and violations of ethical conduct. Thus , Aliyev has damaged the credibility of justice and the title of the judges, reads the statement . However, u it is not specified what is exactly Aliyev’s fault.
Earlier, the newspaper "Azadlig" reported about the fraud by Aliyev , and misappropriation of 600,000 manat. Under the law, the first instance judge is dismissed by the President.
Earlier, at the proposal of the President, the parliament terminated the powers of the three judges of Baku , Ganja and Shirvan appellate courts. Over the past three years 30 judges were dismissed form the judicial system.—16D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
