The results of Chancellor Merkel's visit to Azerbaijan, the inefficient use of petrodollars, and the increase in the number of cars working on gas are the leading topics of today's media
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about the results of the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Germany considers Azerbaijan its main partner in the South Caucasus, and the results of the visit give grounds to believe that the political dialogue between the two countries is being actively pursued and will give impetus to the relations.

The website Azadliq.info discusses the issue of spending petrodollars entering the country with the economist Gubad Ibadoglu.
At present, the authorities divide funds that are to be spent in 2028. That is, money for a decade ahead has already been spent.
The annual report of the State Oil Fund for 2017 says that revenues from 2001 to 2017 amounted to 137.87 billion dollars.
Of this amount, $ 35.8 billion was spent on accumulation, which means that 74% of the revenues (102 billion) have already been spent.
In the current equivalent, this amounts to 173.4 billion manat. If we divide these funds in a fair way, then it will be 17,694 manat per capita and 80,000 manat per average family.
The website Modern.az writes that since the rise in the price of gasoline requests to install gas appliances on cars have increased. Owners of cars are afraid of the further rise in the price of gasoline.
Propane gas costs 40 gapik, which saves fuel on the car. The gas appliances, which are installed by Euroqaz, are manufactured in Italy. Depending on the number of cylinders, the price of the equipment varies from 1,550 to 2,200 manat.
