The website Yenisabah.az publishes a commentary by Turkish general Ozgur Torun on the military operations of the Azerbaijani army. In his words, Armenia did not take into account the fact that the Azerbaijani army is getting stronger every day, that France has no real influence, the United States is busy with the presidential elections, and Russia does not like the current government in Yerevan.
The Turkish general believes that military operations in Karabakh will accelerate after taking control of key roads and points.
The website Moderator.az writes that the last two months have been marked by unpleasant events for Russia. These are the events in Belarus, Georgia, the situation with Armenia, the actual defeat of Dodon in the presidential elections in Moldova, the transformation of Turkey into the main player in the South Caucasus. This is a series of Russia's failures in the CIS.
The website Modern.az quotes a statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov regarding relations with Turkey against the background of military operations in Karabakh. Lavrov stated that Russia will continue cooperation with Turkey, and will also use all its authority to prevent a military scenario in Karabakh.
According to Lavrov, Moscow and Ankara are partners, guided by an operational, pragmatic approach and a strategic view.
As for the Karabakh issue, the situation here is fundamentally different. According to the minister, both the parties to the conflict and foreign partners must strictly adhere to the ceasefire agreements, the creation of a control mechanism and the resumption of constructive negotiations on a specific schedule.
According to Lavrov, in order to put Baku and Yerevan at the negotiating table, they with Turkish partners will try to convince the parties to the conflict. –0-----
