Ministry of Defense on fasting in Ramadan
The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense issued a statement in response to the publication of several media on the ban for military men on fasting during Ramadan.
The report noted that the implementation of religious ceremonies in the army is prevented by many factors, including: natural features, bearing guard and military service.
The conscripted young people have to go through the proper moral, psychological and physical adaptation. Many difficulties arising from this create problems in the implementation of fasting. There is no outright ban on the exercise of such a sensitive issue, the statement says. "However, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of military service, health and safety of troops," the statement says. -03D04-
