Taleh Bagirzade ended his hunger strike, but peaceful actions of believers will continue
Baku/23.06.22/Turan: On Thursday, the leader of the "Muslim Unity" Movement, Taleh Bagirzadeh, ended his hunger strike which lasted for 20 days. He protested against insulting Allah by the security forces, Bagirzadeh told his relatives about this on June 23 by phone. Bagirzade also called on his supporters to stop the hunger strike. He asked to stop the action taking into account the numerous appeals of famous people and other participants of the action with health problems.
At the same time, Bagirzadeh pointed out that believers will continue peaceful actions every Friday until those who insulted Allah and those who torture citizens in law enforcement agencies are punished.
Taleh Bagirzadeh began a hunger strike on June 3, protesting against insulting Allah by the security forces during the interrogation of believers. The hunger strike was supported by more than a dozen prisoners in prisons and a number of people at large. The Ministry of Internal Affairs denies the fact that the police officers insulted Allah and calls the allegations of this a lie.-06B-
