Baku / 12.02.20 / Turan: In 2019, 63869 marriages and 17148 divorces were registered in Azerbaijan, according to the State Statistics Committee of the country dated February 12.
The number of marriages for every thousand people remained at the level of 2018 (6.4), and the number of divorces increased from 1.5 to 1.7.
In the central lowland zone, the number of marriages per thousand people was (6.9), in the Shirvan zone - (6.8), in the Sheki-Zagal zone (6.6), Guba-Khachmaz - (6.5).
