The number of hunger strikers in solidarity with Tofig Yagublu is growing

The wife of the activist, Maya Yagublu, is on a hunger strike in the apartment. “That night my blood pressure increased and I called an ambulance. The doctors helped to stabilize the pressure, but now I have acute pain in my kidneys. However, I will continue my hunger strike in support of my husband. If to die, we will die together,” Maya Yagublu told Turan.
She also said that PFPA activist Gunel Babayeva, who joined her on January 10, was forced to stop the action today because of the flu. Another PFPA activist Gulnara Rahimova continues her hunger strike. Members of the "Musavat" party Natig Israilli and PFPA member Shirvan Soltanov joined the hunger strike at the headquarters of the Musavat party on January 11.

According to Hasanov, the protesters are visited by representatives of civil society, political parties and human rights activists. Today, PFPA leader Ali Karimli visited the "Musavat" headquarters and expressed support for the protesters and their demands.
