The prosecutor's office files a lawsuit against the falsifiers of chicken meat
Baku / 26.09.18 / Turan: The prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against two shop owners in the village of Masazir near Baku, Alfigar Rasulov and Fizuli Hajiyev. They are accused that in their broiler chicken shops they painted an unknown paint in order to give them a more marketable appearance and sale under the guise of "village hens".
The lawsuit was filed on the proposal of the Food Safety Agency under the Articles 178.2.4 (fraud) and 192.1 (illegal business) of the Criminal Code.
It is established that these individuals have sold several tons of such products to various retail outlets. By a court decision, they were arrested. -05D-

Well-known Azerbaijani lawyer Aslan Ismayilov has issued a public appeal to Inam Karimov, Chairman of the Supreme Court and the Judicial-Legal Council, calling for urgent reforms in the country's judicial system. Ismayilov warned that systemic corruption and procedural violations within the courts are fueling public discontent and could lead to further unrest.

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
