Baku / 28.05.20 / Turan: 191 new cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in Azerbaijan, the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on Thursday.
In this case, 2 patients born in 1954 and 1956, diagnosed with coronavirus, died; 125 people recovered and sent from hospitals.
The total number of coronavirus infected in Azerbaijan has reached 4759.
Of these, 3,022 recovered, 56 - died, 1681 - are being treated in special treatment hospitals.
The health of 53 patients is assessed as severe, 62 - moderate, the rest - stable.
284,669 tests were conducted in the country to identify those infected with coronavirus.
For the second day, an anti-record increase in cases of infection has been noted; 165 people were reported to be infected in Azerbaijan on May 27.
Prior to that, the largest increase for the day was recorded on May 16, when 158 people were infected. –21В06
